The weekly harvests are quite abundant... too much for some households. We don't sell a 1/2 share, though, because it's too much for us to coordinate at this time.
Some farm members split their CSA membership with another household, however, and there are two easy ways to do this:
1) Alternating weeks: This is the simplest way... you come every other week, and you can coordinate with your partner if you're going out of town.
2) Dividing the weekly harvest: The first person to arrive makes a basket with approximately half the produce, and leaves it in the corner of the shed with their share-partner's name on it. The produce doesn't usually divide perfectly, but it tends to work well enough.
If you don't know of anyone who wants to split with you, we may be able to match you up with someone. Just send us an email with your preferences (including pick-up day, season length, and the type of split that works for you).
